Disabling the software installation in windows

Right! deepfreeze is the best solution para ma protektahan tanan application and dili mahilabtan atong settings but the problem is when daghan imong pc sa caffe and ang mga online games nimo ang mo suffer kay dili man sila ma update unless you have time nga e update sila ug binagsa. Big work na kaau. Sige ka ug apas sa update sa online games and knowing nga halos kada adlaw sila nag lunch ug updates. Ma byaan imong pc sa mga updates.

And if e disable lang ang windows installer MSI. Still mo allow ni siya ug install like gunz. limewire, etc.. Mo block raman gud ni siya ug windows installer jud such as, office, norton, etc..

Pero about sa caffesuite kay wala pa jud ko ka try ana bro... Tnx sa inyo help tanan!

the simplest way to do it is by using the windows group policy.

to access: go to... start > run > type gpedit.msc

go to...computer configuration > administrative templates > windows components > windows installer > prohibit user installs

pls read the documentation provided.

try daw ni nga paagi: (you should login with administrator rights)

start>run>regedit

go to HKEY Local Machine\software\policies\microsoft\windows\instal ler

tan-awa if naa ba ni nga value name sa right pane sa editor: DisableMSI

if naa, double-click it & check the value data (0-default, 1-admin only, 2-disabled)

if wala, create it in the reg editor (edit>new>reg_dword) then type as it is written (DisableMSI)

i think ang mga installer na .msi extensions ra ang mga disable niya...there are other installers with an extension of .exe

Create new user account kanang user lang siya... Dili na na siya ka install ug program...
