It's appropriate to wash after doing it. It's actually hygienic. And whoever told you whatever you're saying about "makapainutil" after several years only goes to show that he/she will soon acquire UTI due to not washing after the deed. It's not washing/bathing after the deed that makes you "inutil", but rather the one who told you this is the one who's "inutil".
