50k by all standard is okay.. but you can't lay compacent and be transparent that, all commodities here are beginning to raise up already.. prices soar.. gasolines soar, COLA soar.. what else can I say..

Soon enough, your 50k would just eventually be compared to a measly 100 pesos nalang unya..

sa gawas.. you have all the opportunies to grow and earn more.. (consider also the currency where you at, with the peso exchange rate difference)

so my take? ABROAD GIHAPON!... pang long term goal na na.. 50k? short term ra na.. whenever there's an opportunity ABROAD? GRAB IT!!

it makes perfect sense. . . .

For example, I know people who are working in Singapore, they are earning around 100k per month, but the cost of rental eats up 60-70% of their income and that doesn't include food, utility bills, transportation, and recreational activities. Though, the opportunities are greater abroad, there is no doubt about that. But in the end, I'm more concerned of how much I save rather than gross income.
