here's what i can find with trillanes' military career,

Antonio Trillanes IV - WikiPilipinas: The Hip 'n Free Philippine Encyclopedia

    Military Career

He was one of the Navy personnel who risked their lives to rescue thirty-two (32) persons during a daring search and rescue operation for the survivors of the ill-fated M/V Princess of the Orient at the height of tropical storm Gading (international codename: Vicki) in 1998.
He has a five-year sea duty experience logging-in a Total Steaming Time (TST) of 2,593 hrs and 47 min and Total Miles Covered (TMC) of 35, 316.78 nautical miles. During which time, his unit was responsible for the apprehension of dozens of smugglers, illegal loggers, poachers, human smugglers and illegal fishermen in numerous maritime law enforcement operations conducted in the waters off Batanes, Ilocos, Cagayan, Isabela, Zambales, Scarborough, Quezon, Bicol, Palawan, Mindoro, Romblon, Iloilo, Cebu, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Davao and Maguindanao.
He was involved in numerous naval operations in support of ground operations directed against the Abu Sayyaf and other lawless elements. As procurement officer of the Naval Training and Education Command, Philippine Navy, he reformed the procurement system, which resulted in the accumulated savings of more than four million pesos in favor of the government. He has participated in 22 naval exercises conducted with local and foreign navies. He is a recipient of 23 assorted merit medals, campaign ribbons and badges.

sa akong pgsabot, not that much combat experience, but dili sad zero siguro, more on law enforcement (maybe naay gamayng pasalba o pabuto gamay mangukod ug smugglers or dynamite fishers) and support for ground ops, and also on procurement, managing sa mga goods/supplies sa navy, kung baga procurement officer, which is iyang field kay engineering ciya, and maybe because of that post, diha cya nakakita sa corruption sa AFP.

Wow nice assumptions, PMAers pud ka? Field tanan assign tanan PMAers? Asa man field sa Navy, sa gubat? Duna diay naval warfare sa atoa? Wrong, wrong, wrong... Mga PMAers including people i work with karon attest to the fact that Trillanes has zero combat experience. Now prove me wrong, asa imo evidence that duna siyay combat experience?

Never sa AFP na ang mahimong Chief gikan sa Navy or Airforce. Marines ug Army ra jud na kay mistahs reserve their respect para jud anang dunay combat experience. With the exception of Dionisio Santiago, all Chief of Staffs nakaagi ug gubat. Sayop pud ka thinking na si Trillanes jud ang leader adtong Oakwood. If you think Trillanes alone had the influence to call on his fellow soldiers at Oakwood then you know nothing.

gani, thats just what im saying, OT na kaayu ta pero, ang ground troops man permi ang mag combat gud, improtante ang support sa navy pero in terms of lack of combat experience na ilang gi describe kay trillanes maybe there is some truth to it.

Debunk my claim that Trillanes has no combat experience. You can't.

And FYI ingon ani ni karong bago:
after graduation you choose your unit. Mapa Airforce ka or Navy or Army or Marines...

Your tito is a ranger and hibalo siya ang tinood na gi look up sa oakwood mutineers sila Maestrocampo and not Trillanes.

He was deisgnated the spokesman at that time for the reason na hilig jud na niya ang saba saba. I was not talking about RAM but about the immediate leadership at the siege. Who was giving orders? Who decided the plan of action? Not Trillanes.

Your tito ra diay ka kutob so leave it at that.
