there are schools whose medium of instruction is english from the nursery up.. igo na kaayo na nga skill set para mag call center.

i am not demeaning the job ha.. klarohon lang nato. it is the fact that a college diploma is useless here.

I too do not agree with this idea. Rare ra jud ang mga tao nga walay college degree nga successful in life. Sa among community pa lang daan, daghang mga youth nga wala nitiwas ug study tubgod kay walay money or gitapulan na sila. Nya nagminyo na lang ug nagkaanak, walay ipakaon sa ila pamilya. haayyzzz...

well, if mo work lang ka ug gamay nga sweldo cguro you can take this as an alternative..

let me put it this way, who earns 200k-250k per month and travels the world for free plus vacation

allowances and bonuses, free hospitalization and other benefits...

you get that by becoming a ship officer and by that you need to graduate college, right?

oh and the figures could go up by what we call upgrading courses a.k.a. advanced education and board

exams which is another form of education nasad..

work your way up the ladder to success coz life is hard, you can't just say

magbusiness lang ko kay di ko ganahan motrabaho.

Most of the companies now need individuals that are already trained and knowledgeable about the skill set needed for the job. And how do they know they have that knowledge? mao nay gamit sa diploma.

kng sa call center, maka sulod tngai ka sa agent position if wala kai degree. but if u want to go up the ladder, like ani akong company ron, mangita jud sila og mga empleyado nga naai college degree..

how often we say nga work is never the same as the things taught in schools?

ang diploma is para lang pang apply work..pero inig work na, lahi na kaayo.

the only college worth pursuing is a military academy.

the rest is common sense pag abot sa work na.

this is the reason we have apprenticeship.. it goes back to ancient times.

mo comment lang ko ani ha.. ayaw pag ingon bai nga common sense ra. like namong mga engineers, we were and are still trained to design, build, and manage what we built. unsaon man nimo pag design kng wala kai knowledge anang math nga maka dugo og ilong nya mura nag matagak imong utok sa ka lisod? u can't design an amplifier complete with feedback systems kng basic arithmetic lang imong na hibaw-an. unsaon man pd tawn nimo pag kat-on anang fourier series kng + og - ra imong na baw-an? bsan ang mga tag-as og iq, nanginahanglan pd og mga mentors or professors.

bisan unsaon pa, education and degree outweighs experience. u cant be a surgeon just by experience or ang tawag nimo ana, quack doctor, albularyo lang ka. daghan jud mga profession nga kinahanglan ug proper education. ang uban mo require pa man gani ug board exam para maka license ka. but i disagree nga kung mo eskwela ka, employee raka forever. u can start there, earn and save a lot and be the boss of your own later on. wala tay mahimo, bisan asa paka mo adto, pangitaan man jud ka ug credentials para makita kung properly trained and educated baka para mo handle ug mo perform sa job. u wont risk your life in the hands of someone who is not license to handle lives. diba?
