^^nah you are just sour graping coz PGMA won landslide victory here and she vows to pour monitary assistance for the development of Cebu.

to all Cebuanos..keep your hopes up and don't mind the rhetorics of some of the outsiders here..they are only envious of what Cebu have achieve, just let them eat their hearts out for all they care =)

Pre, ki nandaya si GMA dyan para manalo, WALA AKONG PAKI! Try to sound academic sometimes.

what i'm saying is, you are only exaggerating the cost of living here in Cebu..kung susuriin yung post mo parang hinahalintulad mo na ang Cebu sa Tokyo..opinion lang ito

Its better to have a masterplan than none........The way I see it.....the master plan consists mostly of infrastructure improvements which is very important for economic development and the establishments mentioned will surely generate jobs and the supplier for these establishments will also create more jobs and the supplier of the suppliers of these establishments will create more jobs and so on and so forth, assuming those will really be implemented........and yes, no one can create a Singapore or Kuala Lumpur overnight, so why not be patient with the SRP and other economic zones, those can't bear fruit overnight, right?

istoryador, please stop pretending that you're better than the top executives of those companies investing in Cebu. they have a very lengthy process before putting up shop here like what's indicated on the first post. they have datas needed to make such huge decisions that common folks like us are not privy to.

as far as poor people getting left out, that's a wrong notion. those investments help create jobs, thousands of them. for sure that alone could help alleviate the lives of those at the lower rung of society and in a sense improve their buying power.

You cannot build a Singapore or a Kuala Lumpur overnight. There has to be an improvement of the economy that will increase income to everyone, not just the rich ones. Try building an SM in the middle of a mountain, you cant expect it to be teeming with people. Singapore and Kuala Lumpur were not built overnight I agree but it all started by taking one step at a time, just like what Cebu is doing right now. when do you think is the right time? when you say so? c'mon man.. let's leave that job to those people who knows what they're doing. those investments stated above could help improve our economy by leaps and bounds, transforming Cebu into a summer getaway for tourists. can't you see the bigger picture?
Shut Up! Let your GAME do the talking!

Its not fantasy. Look at mactan... It was an osmena who said it would be great to have an international airport there, whilst everyone laughed at the idea... now what...? You wanna laugh at the "grandiose" plans which you yourself will be happily using when it's built...? Or are you gonna live in your cave and dive for fish and hunt for bunnies?

thanks bro... i think this guy wants the government officials to go back to their regular hobby of mudslinging at each other... what's so bad if they look to the future and make plans? That's their original job description anyhow... hehehe

And anyhow, i bet this guy is gonna be enjoying OSMENA day tomorrow... unless he's out hunting for bats to barbecue... heheh
