For me, It's cultural . We have been injected with this type of mentality that women are inferior, weak and emotional. Women should be taken care of and men should take care of them. Although this type of mentality is not as widespread as it was before, I believe this still exist even at this age of modernity. The patriarchal culture as what they term it.
