mao ta diay ni ako sundogon nga set up. router lng ni cya.

Assuming that your MODEM is set up as PPPoE mode or DHCP, this should be the steps to follow:
    1. Unplug your computer from the MODEM.
    2. Plug your computer to any LAN PORT on the ROUTER. Wifi capable laptops should also follow this procedure before connecting wirelessly.
    3. Open your browser, Internet Explorer or Firefox. IE is compatible with most ROUTER GUI.
    4. Look underneath the ROUTER and check what's the LAN IP, username and password. Most common would be 192.168.1.1You can see this at the bottom part of the ROUTER. At the picture above, I used the MODEM since it's also a ROUTER. Please do not confuse this with a stand-alone ROUTER.
    5. Type the LAN IP on the address box of your browser and you should be able to access the ROUTER GUI.
    6. You will be asked for the username and password. Just type in what's indicated at the bottom sticker of your ROUTER.
-Routers have different GUIs and unique from each other. However, options like LAN and WAN should be available on every router. Although they have different steps to access or click on it, click on all options you see in there until you spot what we are looking for. Be sure to familiarize yourself with all the configuration available on your router for future reference.
    1. Look for WAN or Internet Setup page.
    2. Set it to Dynamic IP or Automatic Configuration DHCP. Then save it.
    3. Look for LAN or Network Setup page.
    4. Set the IP to 192.168.2.1 and Subnet Mask to 255.255.255.0. Then save it.
    5. If the ROUTER is asking to commit and reboot or just reboot, then you should do it. Wait for it to save the configuration.
NOTE: since you have changed your ROUTER LAN IP to 192.168.2.1, to access the ROUTER GUI, you should use the 192.168.2.1 from then on.

The router is now configured. You can leave the computer plugged in to the LAN PORT of the ROUTER. Next steps as follows:
    1. Plug the ethernet cable from the MODEM to the WAN PORT of your router.
    2. Wait for it to establish the connection. You should now be able to access the internet. If you have a laptop with wireless capability, it should be able to detect your wireless network and connect to it.
