Plastics and cellophanes are not the only ones causing clog ups. Whether we get rid of them or not as long as people remain reckless in throwing garbage, the flood problems will never stop. It may be one of the solutions but not the best. Why not go to the root of the problem which is waste management in general by disposing waste properly? I think that it is sounder.

there is little to no recycling innovation or encouragement movement by the government. If people in the Cebu province were encouraged to recycle their garbage, then it CAN help with all of our problems. a province wide campaign about healthy recycling techniques can be accompanied with the Governor's suror2x sugbo campaign in an effort to educate all because all are concerned and must answer the call to recycle. Encouragement would easily be in monetary form para kusog sa sugod. then eventually it will become a part of our natural way of life.

I guess the best option for garbage control/disposal is still to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Recover.

As I've said and I'll say it again, let's practice the 4Rs in waste control/management: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover.
