    guys, naa ko question..

buhi pa ba ang PNR karon? is it safe for travel?

->i asked this because we'll be staying in a place near PNR Sta.Ana Station. And when i searched sa google map, i found out that duol ra ang PNR Nichols Station sa NAIA 3 so i planned to ride PNR train nalang padulong sa PNR Sta. Ana Station wherein walking distance ra amo stayhan na relative... what ya think guys?

also, would like to ask how to get to Corregidor Island? pila sad ang pamasahe? and entrance fee if naa? thanks..

hmm. baguio is about 6 hours from manila. kong nahan ka mo diretso og baguio from airport.

A few suggestions for those who plan to go to Manila:

    Splash Island
Their off-season is over i.e. admission is no longer limited to big groups. Regular rates are Php500 for adults and Php400 for kids. They're open Sat, Sun and Holidays from 8am to 6pm. More info here: Splash Island Spa & Resort

    Manila Bay Dining Cruise
The ship cruises around Manila Bay. The cruise, which lasts for a little over an hour, is available 4x a day every Mondays to Fridays and 5x a day every weekend and holidays. Tickets with meals cost Php500. More info here: Hope This Helps You: Manila Bay Dining Cruise by Prestige Cruises

    National Art Gallery
The highlight of this visit would have to be Luna's Spoliarium. Entrance fee is Php100 for adults, Php80 for senior citizens and Php30 for students. The gallery is open Wednesday to Saturday (walk-ins and group tours) and Sunday (walk-ins only). More info here: National Museum - National Art Galery History

My visit to Manila Ocean Park was very memorable because it was the day of the Hong Thai bus hostage-taking. We walked from UN Ave. Station to MOP (protip: ride a taxi or jeepney instead) and when we got to the grandstand, we thought there was a rally. But it was still peaceful when we arrived and when we left. So I was really shocked when it went downhill really fast that night.

Anyway, to those who want to save on taxi fares from NAIA, you can take the shuttle from NAIA to Taft Ave. Fare is only Php20. Then from there, you can go to MRT Yellow Edsa Station or MRT Blue Taft Station.

@rAj_18: Since you have a lot of time, take a daytrip to Tagaytay. It's just an hour or so bus ride from Manila. In one day, we went to

    Picnic Grove
From here, you have a great view of Mt. Taal. We decided not to go to Mt. Taal because we found the rate offered by the bangkero too high for two persons. You can also try out the zipline and cable car. You can also opt to have a souvenir photo taken while you're zipping down the line. They also have horseback riding. Don't be discouraged if they tell you there is a minimum of 1 hour riding, we were able to negotiate for a 30 minute ride.

    People's Park in the Sky
This is Marcos' unfinished mansion. It's a bit of a climb, PUVs are allowed only up to the gates. The view's great - you can see Lake Taal and Taal volcano to the south, Laguna de Bay to the east, and almost as far as Manila to the north. But the buildings have seen better days.

Residence Inn Resort and Mini Zoo
They have a mountainside mini-zoo, just below the hotel building. Entrance fee is Php100 on weekdays and Php249 on weekends. Now, before you say that the price is too steep, note that this includes a shutlle ride to and from Paradizoo Theme Farm and Zoo. Some of the animals you can find in Residence Inn and Paradizoo are camel, donkey, ostrich, snake, lion and tiger, among others.
