Like I said on the other thread , Philippines is no longer a safe place to live . Filipino terrorists killing fellow Filipinos , and people on the streets are sketchy . No one can even go out of their household without the feeling that something is gonna happen to them .

that is a very sad way of living your life...i ask you, when you get out of your house, do you wear a bullet-proof vest with matching helmet? do you carry at least 2 handguns with 2 extra magazines each, aside from your rifle? do you ride your armored vehicle to work everyday?

I would say that what they did was better than nothing...these guys (the Police) deserve all the support that they can get from us citizens. how many times have they caught criminals but can't lock them up for good because NO ONE would be a witness against the criminals. it is true that there are idiot cops who also blemish their badges but we should not be stereo-typing them just like that...

just imagine what would be the scenario if every single person on this country would have a mentality like yours, heck, everybody would be shooting each other out of pure paranoia.

No explosives were in the bags and they are reporting that it was "detonated"? What did they detonate in the first place if there were no explosives?

Whoever wrote that article needs to go back to elementary.

Irresponsible headlines like this either further portray the Philippines as an unsafe place or our police as totally incompetent. Imagine, the police have no way to positively identify if explosives are present, so they have to detonate it? Or this was done for show (= hambug and when actual, way ayo, just like the Manila hostage incident?)
