dye ink is water-based
advantage -
brighter quality print like in pics coz ink is usually at the surface sa paper; ink is cheaper; this is
best sa kanang mga text2x & even pics na just for keeping

disadvantage -
kunga mabasa gani, mapanas or smudge or mag-blot (ayaw lng sad bas-a, unless you work in a
field); if for example sad magpost ka sa imo door ug paper with its print... give it 2-3 months halos
wala na imo print coz it will evaporate most esp. if exposed to sunlight sa 2-3 months

pigment ink is oil-based
advantage -
even if you soak your pic in water using this ink as print, dli dyud siya mapanas... best for pics to last
a lifetime; pigment ink is the "generic term" for us refillers but it is somehow equivalent sa "durabrite"
term ni epson

disadvantage -
ink is more expensive compared to dye; color is not as bright compared to dye, but okay ghapon
kaayo ang color quality

@ lodyl: sir, dependeman gud ang price sa ciss sa model sad sa printer na imo pataudan.... at the moment we only install ciss for epson printers... just give me specific model lang sir so i can also quote you correctly
