ang mga plastic containers di man jud maayo i-use again...
mao ba? pila ang number ana sa mga container sa mineral water nga 5 gallons? kay balik-balikon ra raba na ug gamit..
yeah i've heard that too.... kay ang mga bottles daw sa mcdo kay murag 3 man guro ilang rating.... or higher i think. ang akong question is, when diay ma sagol sa tubig ang cancer causing elements sa plastic? since if this will be the case, we should not buy mineral waters kung gi-store ni cya ug dugay sa mga warehouse? dapat newly delivered stocks from factories ra ang paliton kung maka daot ni.....
Mas safe daw if glass bottles or ceramics na lang ang gamiton. Mas taas man gud na sila tolerance sa heat/cold.
Minimize na lang ta re-use of plastic bottles.
Okay lang ang plastics i-recycle but not as storage of water or other liquids na ato imnon.
eeeeh! then it's not advisable to reuse mineral plastic bottles but instead sell it... hehehe..
Add Info:
Many are unaware of poisoning caused by reusing plastic bottles.
Some of you may be in the habit of using and re-using your disposable
mineral water bottles (e.g. Nestle, Bisleri, Aquafina, Kinley, Evian, etc), keeping
them in your car or at work. Not a good idea.
It happened in Dubai, when a 12 year old girl died after a long usasge (16 months) of SAFA mineral water bottle, as she used to carry the same fancy (painted by herself) bottle to her school daily.
In a nutshel, the plastic (called polyethlene terephthalate or PET) used in this bottles contains a potentially carcinogenic element (something called diethylhydroxylamine or DEHA). The bottles are safe for one-time use only; if you must keep them longer, it should be  or no more than a few days, week a max, and keep away from heat as well. Repeated washing and rinsing can cause the plastic to break down and carcinogens (cance-causing chemical agents) can leak into the water that YOU are drinking. Better to invest in water bottles that are really meant for mutiple uses.
This not something that we should be scrimping on. Those of you with family- do please advise them, especially children.
Prevention is better than cure.
