I'm an online gamer. I was also once a hardcore player. To be honest, it is really quite flattering for people to praise you and adore you like "you're one of a kind" or "you're the most special person in their life" kind of bullsh*t. Sometimes, it is hard to ignore the feeling brought about by the kind of "special" attention especially those players who have well-known characters in-game give to you.

I had my share of leaders of top guilds or key players of the game chatting with me while playing or calling me during idle times. I never understood why since I was a snob, a toughie, a high-principled character in the game. I never gave a crap about online relationships because I knew that it would be too predictable for me. At that time, the game was all that mattered. The people who I play with are just perks of it.

In my opinion, she might have been swayed by the way she's treated in-game. In my realm, female players were treated as royalty. She must've been given the princess treatment which she rarely gets in real life. She's blinded by all the attention she's getting especially when the guys say "wow ate, ang ganda mo naman..." and constantly remind her that, every day or whenever she's logged in. In that game, she's treated like a celebrity and she's enjoying every inch of it.

Bro, soon she'll learn her lesson the hard way if she does not learn how to control her vanity. She might end up losing you and a good relationship (of course, you'll never reach 5 years together if it weren't good in the first place). I had my share. I chose my game instead of my bf and he made it as an alibi to date and be with his college classmate since according to him, I had no more time for him anymore which led him to stray. But I knew I was the problem, not him.

Maybe you can join her. Play together with her. It will create a certain gap because you'll invade her lime light and she'll hate you for taking it away from her...all the attention, all the guys wanting her. But somehow, she needs to realize that what she needs to play hard is the game called Life. If she really still loves you, she'll exert efforts in keeping you. If not, then that's your cue to stop, let go and start moving on. The more you'll tolerate her behavior, the more she tells herself that "it's okay...he'll understand." Snap her out of the vanity that's blinding her and keeping you away from her.

this may be true as well... this means na you should take time para makuha nimo ang iya full attention and get her away from online games if that's what you want.
