Bro Karp, Canon's Image Stabilization works like a charm.
Theoretically, it saves you 3 to 4 stops exposures handheld.
So even at 200mm, a lot of times you can still get decent shots at 1/25 to 1/12 sec.

That's why when people ask me if the price of IS is worth it considering its almost double the price (atleast for the 70-200 F4), i always tell them that it is.
I would choose F/4 IS over F/2.8 non-IS any day =)

Bro ampdeck, yep, that lens is the best walk around lens that canon has, IMHO.
Between that and the 24-70 2.8, the 24-105 gets my vote. Lighter, cheaper, longer focal range, and IS =)

Bro, not sure pila ang retail price sa pinas, but in the u.s. ang 24-70 is about $1300 while ang 24-105 is $1000+, mga $200+ cheaper ang 24-105

Don't get me wrong, the 24-70 is a tack sharp glass, ang ako lang reklamo is that its heavy and walay IS.
