Kamakailan lamang ay nasa spotlight si Kara David dahil sa kanyang controversial na tweets. Last Sunday, she tweeted, “News programs should be watched for the content and credibility of its news, not the looks and ‘*** appeal’ of its presenters.” At sinundan pa niya ito ng isa pang tweet, “Bato-bato sa langit tamaan huwag magalit.”

Ngunit ano nga ba ang dahilan at napa-tweet ng ganun ang veteran reporter?

Sa pananaliksik ng bloggerspeaks.com, napag-alaman namin mula kay Korina Sanchez na ito palang si Kara David ay humiling sa kanya sa pamamagitan ng text na huwag na siyang bumalik sa TV Patrol dahil natatakot umano si Kara na makabawi ang ABS-CBN sa ratings laban sa 24 Oras ng GMA7. Nagtext back umano si Korina ng, “Kara, thanks. Nobody can stop me.”

Pinakita naman sa amin ni Korina ang reply ni Kara, “You are already old Korina! Your hairdo doesn’t look good on tv.”

Reply naman ni Korina, “Magpa-Belo ka muna dahil very visible sa tv ang pimples mo!”

Hindi na nagreply ang reporter ng GMA7. Maya-maya lang, lumabas na ang tweet ni Kara. Ani Korina, “I’m not affected. I know I am sexier and more credible than her.” At sinundan niya ito ng isang malutong na evil laugh.

yeah naa sya right to say her opinion but she still sounds bitter..respected man sya nga news anchor sa usa ka respected na show dapat iya ipabilin ang iyang pagkarespetado sa iyang kaugalingon..dapat she acts in a way nga dili mawala ang iya dignidad..kadawat man kaha ni syag award dapat magmatngon sya bacn maka think nya ang mga taw nga gibayaran ra niya iyang award kay wala man sya niya puy.e ang reason nakadawat sya sa award..

if you or i posted the exact same thing sa akong twitter, FB, or even in istorya, do you think people would react as violently? what if oprah said the same thing about other similar shows? you dont have to be einstein to know the outcome.

this is where the responsibility of a public figure comes in..its perfectly understandable nga xe can freely express herself however, as a media person whose opinion is greatly looked up to..xe just cant diss anyone esp. sa sites nga accessible ni maski kinsa..coz it affects her credibility and biases..competition or not..they move around d same social circle and to downgrade a fellow colleague is to downgrade the entire industry..i thank u bow..hehehehe..=)
