Daghan naman gong nursing students/RN dire sa Pinas. Dili nako mahibulong kung naay mga ing-ani na issues na mugawas, gaya-gaya man gud sa hype..

sa DZMM sir.. nag hisgot sila (ila speakers kai from government agency ug ang isa kai sa private sector) about nurse volunteers .... ingon tong taga private sector nga ang members sa ASEAN kai COE daw pangitaon kung mo seek ug employment overseas ... dili daw dawaton ang certifcate of volunteerism

Mas dako na siya na problema nuon !

They are doing it as a form of experience . I dont know if they are aware but I doubt . if they are why would they waste time .

Di man gud kabalong mugamit sa kaugalingong huna-huna. Magpadala dayun sa mga success stories sa nursing abroad by the media. Sala na sa mga students na ganahan sa "easy" way out, gaba na ninyo. Samut na mu.traydor mus Pilipinas. Pag callcenter na lang mo. :P

hayahay kaayo ang mga skwelahan nga naay nurse nga course. like cdu ila gamiton ilang mga studyante as interns. nya kapalit ang ilang kahago. kwarta kaayo ang CDU ani kay grado ray ihatag. sa under grad pa ginansya na sa experience dayon nig trabaho na perting gamaya ug sweldo kinahanglan naa kay connections para maka abroad. ug wala kay kaila . walay greener pastures.

Basin gatuo ka na ang mga student nurse sa CDU jud ang m.handle sa patient, handle na siya ra jud bahala tanan..those student nurses are under the supervision of staff nurses, naa ang student o wala same ra gihapon staff/registered nurse to patient ratio. Well, that's for CDU because I'm an alumni there, I don't know about other hospitals.

Dili na ingon na kung naay total of 10 nurses (registered (5) and student (5)) ila na tungaan ang 40 patients that makes it 5 patients for each nurse, meaning 20 patients will get a registered nurse and 20 patients will get students to care for them..dili na ingana..ALL 40 patients will get a registered nurse. Actually, kung imo tanawon, samok2 ra man ang students (because I've also been a student and that's how I felt before, na samok lng ko sa staff, but of course the staff don't see it that way, like I see it now)

Having student nurses working in their hospitals also have risks to them, a big risk. They may profit from it but one wrong move from a student will hurt their reputation. That's why no matter pila na kabuok students sa isa ka station, the staff nurse : patient ratio will always remain the same or in short, each patient will have their own registered nurse and a student nurse.

Sadly, daghan na jud bitaw og nurse karon. Nah, ambot nalang, but m.feel ra man sad na ang kadaghan sa nurse sa mga metro cities, but pg.uli nako sa amo probinxa, aw mk.apply ra mn sd ka daun..hehehe..

The advantage sd if imo school naay own hospitals (like CDU), dako jud ka og chance na i.hire sa ila hosp..i suggest if mgnurse mo, choose a school na naay own hosp..BUT I SUGGEST, AYAW NALANG JUD MO PAGNURSE! DAGHAN NA KAAYO TA! HAHAHAHAHA!

i hope the RNheals program would help, at least... but we need long term solution. Hope CHED would not hesitate to close fly by night nursing schools and those low-performing schools in the board exams.

kanus- pman na nahimong gaba ang mkatabang sa uban/mga patients to the point nga g-abusar na sila.( sa mga nurses nga tarong ug ganahan/die hard gyud sa ilang profession)
well, careful sa imong g-ingon maybe you need a nurse someday when the time comes...
