True to a certain degree, for video cards following the reference design they are all manufactured on the same fab regardless of the brand and use the very same circuit and materials, if there is a change in capacitor or circuit design it will come out as a new revision for the card w/c rarely happens. ( even a VRM change will put the card into a new rev )

If its not a batch issue, all brands should have equal durability and return rates provided they have sold the very same number of cards.

but some brands manufacture thier products with better cooling design,w/c could improve system stability during heavy gaming and demanding jobs...
