Abi man kay politic ang ni solti haha, this is all about getting money at the end of the day. If you work in a customer service field its expected that you get bad mouthed randomly/daily basis consider it as a bonus if your not bad mouthed.

pero sooner or later kung mo survive ka sa imo trabaho.. ma kat on naka unsaon pag deal (you and customer) ug ingon ana nga situation

40+ years old naman ang FA so she must have at least 10+ years experience working in the field. If she doesn't know how to deal with irate customers by now, then she's a slow learner and should work in a less challenging/stressful job.

The Congressman was being an asshole, but everyone loses their temper sometimes especially if an annoying supposedly "customer service" person blows them off and then escalates the situation instead of calming it down. The Congressman could have been nicer, but he was not on the plane in his capacity as a Congressman, but as a paying customer. He also didn't bring up the fact that he was a Congressman until well after the incident took place. This could have been any other person and this FA would still be OA. Customer is always right, nobody can argue with this because without customers this FA wouldn't even have the crappy job she has. She could have exhausted all means to try to help the customer within her capability but instead she took the lazy official one-liner "I don't have the authority" instead of saying "I can't do it, but maybe I can refer you to someone who can" and instead of saying "what's your problem" she could have said "I really regret not being able to help, maybe I can ask my supervisor if he/she can assist you" but she just had to be a menopausal so she got her just desserts.
