(naa ko sulod sa balay natulog when this incident happened, so everything I know has just been relayed to me by the TS, ako na nag-organize sa events kay ako ra may kalma ug utok aning panghitaboa)

-- add on sa original post, when the police confronted daddy that night of the incident, they went to the subdivision's home owners vice president to talk it out...He called daddy a liar kay wala kunoy one way nga sign sa dalan sa sulod sa subdivision, then he became angry when he was told nga ang dalan "one way" kay it was agreed upon by the home owners, and got angrier when daddy pointed out nga tanan sakyanan nga nakapark roadside is facing one way which makes it obvious nga one way jud ang dalan...

-- gitan-aw ni daddy ang damages sa sakyanan niya, naa tuod scratch sa bumper, the police insisted "akong sakyanan akong gi-ampingan", and like the first post stated "my dad also said that our car needs repairs too because of the same damage", nireply man ang pulis nga "nya bati man na imong sakyanan", daddy replied "wag ka namang ganyan sir"... (my thoughts on this, di man abi pajero iyang sakyanan unya amo lite ace lang nga medyo gubaon na naa siya'y right muingon ato..)

-- daddy was asking for his name and the only thing he could present was his driver's license but he would never read out his name aloud... daddy said "eh hindi ko makita malabo ang mata ko" the pulis said "malabo ang mata mo tapos nag-drive ka?" then daddy pointed out na he was farsighted so he could drive fine but he could not read small letters especially that it was dark outside...

-- mommy was on the phone with another police relative asking for advise, she went out of the house while daddy and the policeman was talking and said "daddy, wag mong ibigay ang licensya mo" then she asked the police "sino ka, at saan ka naka-assign?" the police walked out without answering...


anyway, the next day, si daddy naka receive us summon sa Traffic Management Group...
then ang neighbor who claimed to be a police, is really a police, dili lang ko mu name names... (Basta inspector ni siya nga naka-assign sa mandaue)
Upon consulting a lawyer friend, nagfile ug kaso sila daddy sa fiscal, police brutality ang grounds man siguro, coz what the police did that night did not follow due process especially that he was not in uniform and he was "literally shouting" that even the other neighbors heard the commotion.. only then nga nahibaw-an nga naa sad diay lain nga mga pending nga kaso ang kato nga pulis... so the morning the following day, daddy went to the home owners association to ask for the memo nga one way jud tong dalana... but the current secretary could no longer produce the file that was dated years back kay bag-o na daw ang administration... (family lived in this subdivision for over 10 yrs now and traffic has always been the same sa ana nga street)... found out nga nag-rent ra diay ug balay diha ang pulis coz duol man ang subdivision sa iya workplace mao siguro wala siya kahibaw sa traffic rules)

Then january 11 sa afternoon, they went to see him to settle the case... He was asking for payment sa damages
or he would file a case nga hit and run kang daddy...

tarong na man siya katong naa na sila atubangan sa officer didto sa TMG... pagkahibaw niya nga naa puy charges against niya kay ni-mellow iyang pagka isug...

wala man gi push through nila ni daddy ang kaso coz if they do, matangtang na nya siya sa iyang pwesto pagka pulis due to the other pending cases that he has according to the fiscal...luoy baya pud... but wala nila gi totally drop ang charges... "pending" lang...

lesson unta neh sa mga pulis... bisan naka uniform ka or wala.. if na-ay ingon ane nga situation deli mo pata-as sa tingog and deli mag pa as if nga sakto sya tanan coz pulis sya nya sayop iyang gika lalis..

to think ang sweldo sa pulis gikan na sa mga tax payer tsk tsk tsk....
