i'm scared to use wood shavings cz of the mites. am i being paranoid?? i have man but ever since the mites... i'm too scared to use it na. for now, spikey uses a baby towel in his cage. i change the newspaper and wash the towel and his cage everyday nlang.

I think that's a normal reaction... but ang woodshavings diri sa ato kay kusog kaau ang halin, mahutdan pa gani usahay so I guess, always bag o ang wood shavings nga ato mapalit.

pwede ra diay butangan tissue rolls bro?

Pwedi ra kaayo kay dilimana nila kit kiton..ila nuon dula dulaan mao bitaw ni dulaan sako mga HH's hehehehe

Guys, in preparation for our next EB meeting, I posted a clarification regarding Champagne color [this is one of our topics btw]. As far as I know, there are still 2 variations identified as Champagne colors in Manila... the first pic is from Doc Russelle daw and the second pic is from Howard daw, puro familiar nga person in Hedgehog world.

ok ra ba sa kilid ra sa bin sprayan ug oil para adto mudikit ang mites? murag makuyawan man q mag.oilbath sa ila uy.. kuyawan ko ila ma.ingest..

i think ganahan sila musulod sa tissue roll mao na mgstruggle intawn sila musulod but dili man sila masulod if dili nimo icut so mura na nuon sila ngduwa2.. maluoy mgtan.aw sa ilang pagstruggle ug sulod sa tissue roll..

Yep, nkaremember gyud ko sa imong gisulti sa una nga gikan ang imong mga hedgehogs kang Doc. Russelle, respetado man gud na xa sa taga PHA, adviser man na xa nila... nindot ug mga line na kay nigawas gani sa imong hoglets kay ruby-eyed cinnicots.

Familiar pod ko kang Howard kay mao na xa ang pwerte kadaghan ug hedgehogs nga puros nindot mga light colored... ie., champagne ug apricots sa una... pero murag ni-quit nlang na xa taud2x na.

Hopefully mahatagan sa taga PHA pod ug explanation kung nganu 2 variations man ang champagne, kung manotice nimo sa pics completely different gyud ang ilang color morph.

Hmmm, mejo ubay2x ang napuno sa akong Herd, i'll give time unya to name them... But for now, I got 1 female Jumbo Albino that I surely retain... named her Samantha.



It's the other way around bro... the female should go to the male's bin, for the reason na mas dominant ang male if naa xa sa iyang territory.

Possible ang ESF, especially if naay line nga ESF ang iyang parents or grand2x-parents. But platinum, murag mejo mka-jackpot ka if ever, coz wala pa ko'y nabasahan na platinum nga gi-confirm sa pag-ID diri sa pinas. But who knows, hehe... good luck btw!
