NURSING BOARD EXAM 06 --- TAKE 2??!!

That is why they have to be given a chance to prove their worth. The government is asking for them to be given the chance for employment since they are really innocent with this issue. After all, the 20 item leakage was excluded from the computation. As such, why do our board passers have to take again the board exams?

Erasing doubts through retake seems to be overboard to me.

i think most of the tym they always try to find an easy way out as a solution w/c they don't think of what the outcome would be in the future... in the real world outside the philippines are they gonna be given a chance of what their history was we are now branded in the nursing field and each tym they hire our nurses there will be a question in their minds if we are really worthied to take care of their patients...this also really show how our school system and government is in our country...full of CORRUPT people....WATTA SHAME....

Such an unfair opinion...there are still innocent who took the exam...pano nmn sila. I agree on the PALACE when they said that its unnecessary and unfair to retake the exam...totoo naman kasi. Nakakaawa nmn yung totoong naghirap para sa exam na ito.

pwede mu comment? hasul jud au mu retake noh and im glad na final na jud ang decision na NO RETAKE. For your info ISTORYADOR, dli lng karon ni happen ang cheating sa board exams...in fact sauna pa jud tawn na...its just that karon na cya gipagawas out in the open and it just so happen na batch 2006 ang affected...what if sa imo na batch na ni happen, would you retake it for the sake na to clean up the so-called INTEGRITY and REPUTATION sa mga taw nga nag leak ana?excuse me...i made some sacrifices to prepare for that test and its even unfair coz mao ra ni gidangatan ato tanan....dli lalim...hala, kanang mga self-righteous dra kay pang retake mo...bsta ako humana akong kalbaryo ana and im ready to move on with my life...makita ra btaw ang katag sa NCLEX

You open a bottle of soft drink. THen when you open it you saw that the opening is broken, with shards of broken glass settling down on the liquid.

Question, will you still drink the softdrink and risk being choke by shards of glass or you just throw the bottle away and buy another one? Of course it will be an additional expense but its safe because it will saved you from drinking an unsure softdrink.

The same with the Nursing 06 Board Exam. There was a taint on the results thus there is a need to cleanse everything to determine once and for all if everybody passed the nursing exam.

Senate orders PRC to explain snub of nursing probe

THE Senate will order officials of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to explain their continued snub of the Senate investigation into the leakage of questions for the June 2006 nursing licensure examinations and threatened to cite them with contempt.

Senator Rodolfo Biazon, chair of the committee on civil service, which is investigating the nursing leak, was preparing to issue the order Wednesday after the PRC officials failed to attend the hearing earlier in the day, their third time to do so.

Senator Franklin Drilon said Biazon would be issuing “a show cause order similar to the procedure adopted in the regular courts, where those who are subpoenaed are given an opportunity to explain why they have refused to heed the subpoena.”

But he explained that showing up or submitting an explanation did not automatically absolve the PRC officials either.

“The committee would have to decide once the explanation is submitted whether or not the explanation is acceptable. If it is not acceptable, then the committee is free to decide how to proceed,” Drilon said.

Palace for nursing test retake in leakage areas

MALACAÑANG favors a retake of this year’s nursing licensure examinations in areas where leakages of the questions took place, a senior official said Wednesday.

Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita said they are waiting for the results of the investigation conducted by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) into the leak of questionnaires for tests 3 and 5 of the June board examinations.

At his weekly briefing, Ermita said the NBI, which is scheduled to submit its report Thursday, has identified the areas where the supposed leakage happened.

Asked if the initial findings showed a case, Ermita said, "There is a case about the leakage."

"We will be able to know from the findings of the NBI and the PRC where the source of the leak was, that will be the determinant on who should be made to retake the exams," he said.
