So.. pushing/shoving other sickly participants like crazy without caring for others well-being and instead of helping fallen comrades, they trample them instead to get to their goal.

So how can you say they aren't killing each other? You have a shallow understanding of killing... you the one that ignorant >_>

mas gwapo ko hehehe... though i miss people from the SO section. ehehehehe

    now back to topic..

its this kind of blind religious zeal that im totally against with..
its because of this that people get hurt for some stupid reasons..

personally, i think im closer to reality. you dont see gods/godesses/anitos/anitas/ walking everyday do you?

lets not make this a debate about religion.. this aint the place for that.. what we tackle here are the physical/political/economic aspects of such events... lets put our arguments at quantifiable/observable arguments..

exactly, we're talking here about the disorder and chaos of this event not about religion..

i repeat, im not against the teachings of the catholic belief, but there many many people in the catholic church who are using it for their own gain and using the congregation to further their agendas..

ive already had my fair share of harrasment from these "catholic" organizations in forms of financial solicitations for programs that i dont believe beneficial to the people.. and ive already have received my share of bad publicity during mass just because i dont give funds to such events...

(also had experiences like this from INC)

    - it's not that I don't understand what your statement mean, it's how you put those words. Did you see them killing each other? Did you see intentional kicking or punching? sure enough pushing and accidental hitting can't be avoided considering their tradition which I believe you already knew about this. But you reasoned on killing? Better get the proper meaning of the words or better yet do not exaggerate things. I am not going to argue you more on this as to myself do not totally in favor on the kind of tradition they pratice there.. but nonetheless it's their way of expressing their beliefs and adoration.
