Default Humans are a part of mother nature

I was thinking that maybe this would give me an infraction so i requested it to be deleted. Here goes.

Humans are like any other organisms that we often call "Mother Nature". We are no different from them even if we have grown exponentially when it comes to intelligence.

I'm actually sick of "Humans must not tamper with mother nature" stuffs from people. Its like they seem to see themselves as a being on a higher ground. We hunt other species for food/pleasure just like other organisms do and yet we see our actions as something that is not of nature's doing when in fact we are part of nature itself. We call the things that we created as artificial but we call a bird's nest natural?

Don't get me wrong, I'm against some of our actions that are destructive to nature but their point of "not tampering with nature" have slowed us down in terms of science and more importantly, have made us think that we're far superior and have everything at our disposal.

I suggest you repost your original post. I find nothing wrong with it. In fact it's something I myself have been meaning to post about or stress in these forums. And it starts with this thought:

Whether you like it or not, we live in an indifferent, uncaring universe, and our existence is but a mere blip in the vastness of cosmological time. So people do need to reflect on this and realize that though we constantly like to place ourselves "on the high horse", that we're essentially nothing.

depends on whats your definition of Tamper...

do you consider selling stuff a form of mother nature?

doesnt nature only take what it needs... not excessively take what ever it wants...

    Nature doesnt hunt for Pleasure...

genetically altering genes/species is it not tampering...
introducing foreign bodies to a native area resulting to destruction is it not tampering...
do you want that kind of tampering...
let nature do its work dont snatch it...

yes... there is no denying we are part of mother nature but as of now the way we are acting Humans are the biggest parasite in the world...*still part of nature* wahaha

I can see this thread as a campaign again global warming an such ...

but i do love nature , to see blue colored frogs in the future and just hope they dont get extinct...

i can relate to the movie Avatar , everything is interconnected where in fact we all came from 1 single cell..

in the near future , jungles will be deforested
    oils will be depleted .

we can either survive or kill ourself in the next thousand years ... and be just part of history... as other specie will again be the one to dominate earth in the future as they soon develop their own intelligence and be civilized perhaps millions of years from now .. lol

We have the intelligence to get out of this planet and go elsewhere. Sadly, the human population as a whole, doesn't share this mindset.

Some large cats are particularly noted for hunting for pleasure. Ever heard of "ghost and the darkness" ?

Since we are part of mother nature, isn't our nature itself called natural and that our acts is also an act of mother nature?

I LOVE nature but I don't like the mindset of treating our actions as something too highly for nature.

killing and committing other sorts of crimes against fellow human beings, is in one way or another, a manner of tampering mother nature.

If we are part of MOther nature like the plants, do plants destroy other trees or plants?
If we are part of Mother nature like the animals, does the animal burn forest? or pollute the oceans?

We are a higher being, created with eternal value, the main reason why we get jealous over the other or kill each other, is because of sin.

Why care so much for things that will withered? Why not care for things that has eternal value?
