A good example of abuse of authority,
picture should be taken to keep you and your Dad on the winning side,
    they can always twist accounts.
But on the other hand it requires witnesses and proper investigation from the traffic force department, His harassment,if you could handle it well, would land him in hot water.

and even if there's only a paint that was stripped off. your dad is oblige to pay for that damage. even though the pulis patola is in the wrong way, IF YOUR DAD was really at fault here then he needs to pay the damage. anyway the traffic enforcers will ask for penalty for going in wrong way nig abot na nila.... but mas daku jud ma bayran imong papa compara sa pulis patola ticket madawat..
taymsa the damage happened during the one way encounter? or afterwards?

kay if ang "police" ang sayop ug giaagihan, pildi gihapon sa kaso ang sakto nga party?
expert ka aning legal procedures bai?

Just a while ago, my parents just arrived in our subdivision when they met a Pajero going the opposite way (one way ang dalan). My dad (driver) tried to make space for the other car to pass through and shouted "One way ni bosing!"

They are already at home with us when a man came and exclaimed that we bumped into his car. He then pointed out that he is a police (wa siya uniform) and demands to see the license of my dad. What my dad did was talk to the police that the "bump" wasn't really a bump but just a very minor scratch (nikiss ra gud ang mga bumper nila). The police then allegedly said that my dad was trying to escape from paying the "damages" which was not really true. My dad said "Bakit ako tatakas eh, taga rito ako at ikaw naman rin ang nasa mali. One way ang daan diba" in a calm way.

Then, my mom went out and asked for the police's name and his assignment. He didn't answer and demanded again the license of my dad which my dad never gave. He again and again said that he is a policeman and said "Bastos man mo, police KO!" whenever we reason out.

He and my dad went to see the "damage" which wasn't really a damage (napaksit lang ang pintal). The police asked my dad to have his car repaired and so, my dad also said that our car needs repairs too because of the same damage (sila man jud duha alkanse). And then, again, he said "Bastos ka ha, police KO! Dapat ipaayo ni".

This ended when the policeman said that he has to go and he will come back tomorrow. In summary, he kept on blabbering that he is a police and "Bastos daw akong dad".

As far as I know, policemen know traffic rules and regulations more than an average individual. In addition, policemen who are not in uniform or in duty cannot practice their "power" or so we call it. This police tried to use his "power" to have what he wants from my dad. Isn't this harrasment or even police cruelty?...

What's your opinion....naa pa bay laing case nga ing-ani?....
Mao ning useful kaayo ang voice recording feature sa iphone/ipod touch, arun mahatag dayun sa TV patrol. Hahaha...
