if naay retake ngano mo reklamo man ka, pasar man ka...dont tell me wa nka ka remeber sa mga answers...kung nalimot ka, wa diay ninyo gi dibdib ang pag study...taman lang sa memorize...unya wala na dayon...for the sake lang sa exam...

read the post of twalalyn...nag doubt na sila sa karon na batch...and grabeh ang dscrmnation sa abroad...more pa nga na belong ka sa karon na batch...

^^i really don't understand though why they decided NOT to have a RETAKE..

i think it's coz a lot of the examinees were "blah blah blah grrrrrr blah grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr RETAKE??"

unsa pa kahag maka trabaho mog ospital sa US? like twalalyn said, before you could get employed in a hospital in the US, YOU HAVE TO take certain exams to get yourself oriented..

For your info ISTORYADOR, dli lng karon ni happen ang cheating sa board exams...in fact sauna pa jud tawn na...its just that karon na cya gipagawas out in the open and it just so happen na batch 2006 ang affected...what if sa imo na batch na ni happen, would you retake it for the sake na to clean up the so-called INTEGRITY and REPUTATION sa mga taw nga nag leak ana?excuse me...i made some sacrifices to prepare for that test and its even unfair coz mao ra ni gidangatan ato tanan....dli lalim...hala, kanang mga self-righteous dra kay pang retake mo...bsta ako humana akong kalbaryo ana and im ready to move on with my life...makita ra btaw ang katag sa NCLEX

.. exactly. be far-sighted enough to know the importance of the retake. For sure, in a couple of months time there will be an article or even news that nurses from the philippines is having a hard time going abroad.

hala uy...its a different story naman gud if thats the case twalalyn...there's no point in the retake here sa phil. board exams kay kbaw ko nga hugaw jud ato systema...actually, ok ra jud nako ang retake pero wala na credibilidad ang pinas..dli na mka salig ang mga taw nga ang retake kay mao jud ang solusyon....wala jud koy reklamo anang continuing education ay...and to tell all of u, im currently reviewing AGAIN kay basin pa retakon nya mi and for nclex...hitting 2 birds with 1 stone...im not afraid with d black listed thing...ngano mahadlok tawn ko ana gud nga i know what im capable of...kita-on lng lgi jud ang katag sa nclex ba.. ergo the RETAKE is not the SOLUTION for this current problem...they should punish the people involved para dli na mausab ang nahitabo ani nga batch...nka remember mo around 5 yrs ago or sumthng sa BAR exams? did they retake the whole damn test?dba wala?dats exactly what is happening right now. Can u imagine how chaotic would it be if pa-retakon ang tanan?the problem isnt on the students but naa sa higher people...Prinsipyo na ang gi storyaan ani..if we choose to opt for retake it would simply mean that we are part of those who cheated and benefited sa leaks, which is not true. There's no assurance na malimpyo ang inyong so-called DIGNITY, INTEGRITY and REPUTATION if mag retake..how can u be soo sure na wla na jud leaks? mas maayo pa cguro if dili pinoy ang mu conduct sa tests, mas mu tuo pa ko nga way hugaw...gatuo mu nga wlay cheating sa inyong batch?naa intawn, wala lng gipagawas...its a common fact since sa times sa ato mga parents na HUGAW jud ang systema sa pag regulate sa atong mga professionals dri sa pinas..dli lang na sa nursing noh...pati engineering, law, ug uban pa nga dagko nga courses. some opted to stay silent para walay gubot pero it just so happen na in this batch, naay ni voice-out, which is a good thing para maundang na ang pagpang limbong anang mga review center ug uban pa dha...

^^^ if you think you've passed the last exam, then ipaglaban mo kapatid.... but if you think you didn't pass, then why not try grabbing the opportunity to retake for free....


and yes, you're right..... dili rman sa nursing nahitabo ang cheating.... fortunately for me during my time i got everything inside mah head..... so i don't need to cheat...

@baron, ure absolutely right. and its up to the NURSE to prove his/her competency and to add up to what baron has said, the cxhairperson of board of nsg said the leakage happened OUTSIDE the system, ergo, outside the PRC or BON system. therefore, an outsider caused the leak. and it is very unfair and unjust for hospitals to discriminate nurses from this batch. and to finish this, its the PRC who will say if naa juy retake. and the stance of the PRC is solid and clear: NO RETAKE because their system of nulifying the leaked questions was IMPLEMENTED. let me cite an example. Sa ako ning auntie. the BAR exam was also iunflicted with the leakage issue. one of the subjects, commercial law, was leaked. what the PRC did was to nullify the subject. so, instead of 8 subjects ang BAR exam, 7 nalang. nya wala man gani sila ga retake!
and to think, essay type ang BAR exams!!! mas kuti nya 6 agonizing months sila maghuwat sa results!! kakapoy na ana kung rtake ah! how much more for a multiple choice type question sa nursing?!.. mau gani gituyo daw ug dugay sa pag-release ang board results para to eliminate the leaked questions by treating it statistically.

There is no outside PRC. That's why they call it leakage because its from the inside. Bogo gyod nang chairperson da. Stupid ka-ayo ug reasoning. Usa siguro siya sa naka dawat ug saborno.

shinggay, this message shouldn't be addressed to you but to those people who has the power to decide if a retake is needed, but for the sake of this discussion here goes:

have you even thought of a scenario (granting that there won't be a retake) wherein even if you passed the NCLEX and all the required tests in the US, Europe or any other countries; the fact that you belong to Batch 2006 you'll be shunned by employers and preference would be given to nurses from other countries? knowing full well that those countries specially the US have zero tolerance with this kinds of stuff. what if they make good on their promise not to hire anybody from that batch even if one gets the highest score in the NCLEX?

'coz over the weekend while mingling with the crowd at a party, about a couple dozen nurses who work in the DFW area have been asked by their bosses and co-workers re that infamous "leakage" and "cheating" that happened back home.. they didn't know how to react 'coz for sure it never came to their mind that the news would reach them that fast and that sudden.. all the while they just thought "it wasn't a big deal".. they were wrong, 'coz I myself saw it on the local news last week. I was ashamed of what happened even if I ain't a nurse, I was ashamed 'coz I am a Filipino. imagine how those Filipino nurses around the world felt seeing the news on TV?

I remembered the same people, a few months back, talking about nurses fron Korea, China, Japan, India etc etc slowly getting jobs at their respective workplaces. now that this fiasco happened, how do you think Filipino nurses will fare in the near future? and I'm not even talking solely about Batch 2006 here, I'm talking about all Filipino nurses in general.. who's gonna hire them?

for sure you will just say "makita bitaw ang katag sa NCLEX".. yes, we will see how your batch will fare if it gets blacklisted by hospitals..

.. i have this friend who's of the 2006 batch who landed a job in Cebu Doctor's. My friend said, the nurses coming from the visayas and mindanao regions are not that affected since the leakage was only in Luzon and they had separate venues. Yeah, it's ok when you talk locally but, what is the sole reason to why thousands have opted to take up nursing, even doctors TO GO ABROAD, right?? If the reputation of the filipino nurses will be branded as " leak cheats" it will sorely affect the hiring of the profession.
