You can't just play online right away while removing the USB dongle you need to update first to the latest firmware which is not good for JB...

Due to the recent release of PS3 root keys, you don't have to Jailbreak your PS3 anymore. This will allow programs to be signed as if Sony signed the programs themselves and the jailbreak dongles will not be used anymore.. This will work on all PS3 OFW and right now there's already a CFW released for OFW 3.55 as a proof of concept. It's a matter of time before we can see a fully working CFW for PS3. And also PSPhas suffered the same fate due to the recent release of PSP root keys aka Kirk keys...

Aw naa ra na ninyo. The reason ngindot kaayo ang mga "PS3 exclusives" kay wla piracy. Karon nga naa na aw ang inyong PS3 maparehas na sa PSP nga abugon na lang.

    Enjoy your jailbreak.

    Default pros & cons

Since this topic is on again, just want to share a thing or 2, if you have the budget & you like to play online most of the time.. go legit.. if you don't feel like buying all that ps3 release game then go for jailbreak, practically speaking not all ps3 games have great Online functions & consider the cost of some games..since you are not tampering any warranty on it.. you can Jailbreak or be legit
with regards so called support of Sony..have anyone tried returning/servicing a yellow/red screen of Sony Philippines? what are their feedback with that matter?
