i thought ni mysteriously disappear. well, gamay na lang ang memorayson sa mga estudyante.

Kinda disappointed with the news. Only 424 astronomers involved in the decision, that is
less than 5% of the world's astronomers. Although the total redefinition of planethood
is for scientific reasoning over historic and cultural influences. 'Til then, Pluto.

IN MEMORIAM: PLUTO

Our Sun lost one planet last week and Earth bade farewell to its farthest planetary
neighbor. Pluto has been officially booted off the list of planets by the IAU.
As a stargazer/doorstep astronomer, I am somehow upset.

f we scrap pluto off the list, we cant deny dat we used to memorize nine planets wen we wer still in grade school, n i mean it der r a lot of sentimental folks out there, even scientists

i guess i'm on of the sentimental freak out there. somehow, this event has made me sad. pluto's demotion somehow created a more pronounced distance between what it was in the past and what it is now...weird view i know.

on the other hand, unsa na lang ang mahitabo ni sailor pluto? hehehe...
