Default Have you been thinking of being a volunteer for a few months?

Coz before I thought of applying at VCO, but then I thought why volunteer in other countries when we have so many unfortunate people right here in the Philippines?

So has anyone here thought of being a fulltime volunteer for, say, a few months? And what kind of volunteer work would you be interested in?

How about donating blood. It doesn't require much effort, but it means a lot to the recipient.

the part that i hate is that they don't have a "motivating system" for us to donate that when it's your time that you need blood, they can't give you......not even to prioritize the donor.....

it would've been a motivating factor if they will reserve at least 1 single bag everyday, of every blood type, that we (donors) can get in case of an emergency.....

i gave this suggestion through text, no one replied.... sad.............

Yes I've tried being a volunteer in a special education center, though its was a partime but it's worth a try. Learning new things on how to deal with different children with diverse disabilities makes my patience and knowledge broaden. In my experience impatient is not applicable in dealing with this children, people has a big heart is highly accepted in this field of teaching special children. We need people who knows to understand for them to impart knowledge and taking good care because this children needs focus, attention, care and love for this children.
