    @Earlz - mao mana ang i-puli sa 1366. but wala pa g.release sa intel.. murag ang style sa intel karon is they released first the mainstream nga socket.

    I might go for that one if the clock per clock performance compared to my Q6600 is a LOT higher.. the i7 is something like 10-15% at best case for GAMING. still not enough to warrant an upgrade.. im hoping the LG2011 will blow the Q6600 out of the water in terms of gaming, time to upgrade this 3yr old computer!

    hahaha, that's what's also in my mind..it's about time also for me to upgrade my 3yr old mobo. Naghuwathuwat rako kung when abot diri sa pinas ang i7 200k og maximus Iv extreme...

    sandy bridge is highly admired on performance per watt.
    an upgrade from Q9450 is quite interesting.

    Im not into that uber expensive boards, mao ni ang main reason nag dugay ko sa Q6600 nako Abit IP35-E was has all that I need for a cost price of 5k sauna.. karon mo gasto tingali ta ug 18-21k just for a board that offers the functionality.

    ^ me too, bai. board is almost 3 years now. what i did with the proc though, is upgrade and sell. i buy used 'high-end' procs and sell the old one until i get what i wanted. i can't afford mag front seat but this, this looks like a good jump from my E8400.
