And now here we are talking about HONOR and INTEGRITY ... is that a way of redeeming PHILIPPINES not to become a NATION CHEATERS anymore ?
" A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. " - 2nd Amendment , Bill of Rights of the United States of America
when i heard about the news about the nclex testing center to be considered in the philippines, i had second thoughts, honestly, because i know there are a lot of red tapes in our country... then the news came up regarding the leakage...i think this year was suppose to be the turning point if we could be trusted by the US to have 1 of their centers in our country...so, do you think the foreign countries like the US would still trust our country to have 1 of their testing center there in the philippinesi don't think so... they can't trust our country because of this... imagine what it could of done to our nurses and our economy...it would have been a really great chance for a lot of people...

Sa ako ning auntie. the BAR exam was also iunflicted with the leakage issue. one of the subjects, commercial law, was leaked. what the PRC did was to nullify the subject. so, instead of 8 subjects ang BAR exam, 7 nalang. nya wala man gani sila ga retake!
and to think, essay type ang BAR exams!!! mas kuti nya 6 agonizing months sila maghuwat sa results!! kakapoy na ana kung rtake ah! how much more for a multiple choice type question sa nursing?!.. mau gani gituyo daw ug dugay sa pag-release ang board results para to eliminate the leaked questions by treating it statistically.
pwede mu comment? hasul jud au mu retake noh and im glad na final na jud ang decision na NO RETAKE. For your info ISTORYADOR, dli lng karon ni happen ang cheating sa board exams...in fact sauna pa jud tawn na...its just that karon na cya gipagawas out in the open and it just so happen na batch 2006 ang affected...what if sa imo na batch na ni happen, would you retake it for the sake na to clean up the so-called INTEGRITY and REPUTATION sa mga taw nga nag leak ana?excuse me...i made some sacrifices to prepare for that test and its even unfair coz mao ra ni gidangatan ato tanan....dli lalim...hala, kanang mga self-righteous dra kay pang retake mo...bsta ako humana akong kalbaryo ana and im ready to move on with my life...makita ra btaw ang katag sa NCLEX
Wow..a very good decision nga NO RE-TAKE......ako against gyud ko sa ipa retake ang Nursing board exams last June 06....at least they made a sound and fair decisions....
@shinggay: would i retake it kn among batch pa to nahitaboo, nganu di man...sa ako lang pud ni opinion ha... this would be another reason for me to say there longer b4 coming back here... sa nclex pud makita how competent you will be as a new nurse... plus anha nimo makita kn unsa gyud ka ka nurse when you're on the floor practising your field and how really competent you really are before you get sued by your own patients....its not just giving meds coz its tym to give it and w/out knowing your patients from head to foot bcoz there are a lot of nurses that are practising that and their patient end up coding or died...
tests are good and even retakes in my opinion...anha nimo ma measure imong kaugalingon kn kabw ba gyud ka...i think daghan nurses nga nag2-o nig human pasar na mga exams mao nato di na mag2-on or basa2...anha ka makabw nig sugod nimo nga maka engon ka sa imo kaugalingon nga wa lagi kabw anah...its up to you to do continuing education nga di ka ma stagnant kay daghan kausaban sa nursing field permi...
nig ari ninyo sa states and you'll work in a big hospitals while you're in orientation, you'll see that they will give you exams and if you flank it they'll let you retake it before you work on their floor...this is how they measure if you know basic nursing...
@twalalyn: couldn't agree with you more..
i share the same views as you.. they should take it as an advantage for them to broaden their knowledge about nursing.. let aside the money, the inconvenience, the pressure..
