Lelz. I overheard a little boy at the waiting lounge saying "Ma, mura lagi ni ngari ug South Bus, no?". hahaha

super ka layu sa parking... layo kau amo gilakawan when we were picking out my dad... murag makatagam... sus kung naa palang other options...

^^^ in many of the airports i have been to in this cuontry, the bigger they are the farther the parking area hehe. while in other countries, parking is itself in the same building INCLUDING bus and train stations. but ok ok pa ni oi, sa manila mas layo lakwon. kining sa MCIA, mura ra syag layo kay tuyok ka sa waterfront, labang pa jud sa curving road nga daghan speeding cars/taxis!

anyway, for me the building is still fine compared to other places, and i agree with many folks above, its the people of the airport that makes it bati! here's an example observation way back sa wa pako nag-reside diri

Kanang gibarugan sa Waterfront Hotel, mao unta na ang maayo nga space para parking area. Parking area man na sa una diha.

Functionality wise, Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) is way better than Davao and Iloilo airports.

At the MCIA, there's a separate access way for departures and arrivals just like in NAIA and in any other international airports in the world.

In Davao or Iloilo, there's no ramp that will take a particular vehicle straight to the departures area without interfering or competing with the vehicles going to the arrivals area.

I also like MCIA because there's a spacious lobby once you enter the departures area. It's like a mall or something. In Davao or Iloilo, when you go to the main entrance at the departures area of the airport, derecho dayon XRAY machine, so meaning those without tickets cannot enter. I experienced sa Davao airport, naglinya tawn mi sa init sa gawas kay ang XRAY machine naa man sa main entrance sa airport.
