What i said was. It's useless to lift weights if magpataka rakag kaon. Sayang lng imong effort! You won't be seeing results. Again with the supplements. Supplements are just there if you have specific deficit in your diet. They are not there to replace Whole Meals. Never use supplements if wa kay deficit in your diet! Sayang lng ang kwarta! It's just like putting more gas on a full tank!

agree pud ko ani. i also take supplements pero pre and post work-out lang, just to provide my body optimum nutrition for energy, strength and recovery. whole meals na dayon the rest of the day and on rest days. kapoy lang kaon usahay 6x a day. mapugos ko ug kaon bisan busog pa. hehe!

yeah i know about the carb/protein/fat ratio. i've been trying to eat a little more since the new year kay i want to get bigger but w/ minimal bodyfat gain. nag-plateau man gud akong weight at 152lbs for more than a month na.

i'm still a newbie in bodybuilding, 4 months ago pa lang ko nagsugod. please share your knowledge here if you don't mind. i increase my carb and protein intake during my work-out days (MWF), lower my carb intake during rest days (TThS), and eat whatever my kids eat during sundays. hehe

when u reach plateau (especially for ur muscle size and weight), it has something to do with either or all of the following: nutrition and diet, exercise program and rest periods...

thanks for the info. i was already 152lbs by mid nov 2010. i lost 2lbs when i jogged 2-3x a week for 3 weeks in preparation for the milo marathon. that's why i stopped doing cardio exercises after the event. i'm back at 152lbs and eating a little bit more to hopefully get to 155lbs at the end of this month.
