				"boku(plain form of watashi [I])" is usually used by males in japan as well as "kimi(plain form of anata[you])" ... for the ladies you can use "atashi".

				@kyle_nexus, based on the thread's title "Do you speak japanese?" , is i think already assumed that the ppl are already familiar with the basic japanese language. Or can already speak/write in nihongo
if u want to learn from the basic, maybe we can start another thread that will focus on question and answer portions about the language, and learning the basic hiragana and katakana and other japanese stuff ..
