^ah, you're the type of employee who thrives on acknowledgment. nothing bad there. go get it if the company is not pro-active enough.

i once worked in a business-driven, politics-charged environment and i learned this one great lesson: sometimes you just have to be your own PR person. if you don't take credit for your accomplishments, someone else will. in the rat race, you might be as friendly and good-hearted as Remy (in Ratatouille), but still, your fellows are r-a-t-s hahaha.

bottomline is that it's okay to want a promotion/raise especially if you have accomplishments to back it up. it's good to be pro-active and assertive.

so naa pud moy criteria sa scorecards? or ang imo ra immediate head mauy mo conduct og scores? mao pud na akong gi huna-huna nga dapat if 1 year naka naa jud kay bisag slight increase lang.

sud ug mga call center.. dali ayo ang ramp up. naa ko sa cvg ron. a little more, basin pwede na ko kaaply for a tl.

Depende sa company jud... Broad kaayo ni nga topic.

My first company, for two years wala mi increase. Then after wala nako didto, I've heard that their yearly increase was on an average of 10% from an employee's monthly salary rate. My second company, I was given a 25% increase due to level upgrade. Now in my third company, we are given 8 to 15% increase, depending on our appraisal.

For me, I don't mind anymore what is my appraisal, or how much is my yearly increase. Basta, as long as I am committed in my work, I follow my direct superior, and do my best to maximize the income generated by the company in my own simple way, I think that's enough for me. It is because I am happy and contented working for my present company.
