its always good to have a check up first w/ the doctor so you'll know whats the reason your having high blood pressure.Or for the mean time, you can monitor your blood pressure everyday to know your average blood pressure. The doctor advise my mom to do that coz there are some time of the day where your pressure will be up or down. Yes, oatmeal helps lower the bad cholesterol coz theres a lot of fiber and fiber will coat the bad fats away. Its not only oatmeal but foods that are rich in fiber will do. Garlic also is good for the heart. One thing about garlic is the odor but my mom is taking a garlic supplement w/c is odorless and wont hurt the tummy.
