I once threw our computer chair towards my brother when he refused to let me use the pc for me to play my online game and I'd be more than willing to throw the computer table too if my brother does the same thing yours is doing.

I am not against getting married because of being in love with each other. What I am against though is marrying without any plan. Practicality plays a vital role for one to thrive in a very demanding and difficult world we call reality. If he can't even help himself get a job for his sake, how much more when he's got mouths to feed by then?

I know how painful and heavy it is in your heart to have such a brother, especially when there's really nothing you can do about it since he won't even listen to you. It does not feel good at all watching him make a huge mistake while you just stand at the sideline just watching him.

I hope he'll change his mind. I really do.

bitaw, i really hope he will change his mind...all i can do is watch him crash and burn...i know if he gets married he will fail because he is not mature and he is financially incapable of supporting himself coz he has no job...how on earth can he support his wife? he can't rely on my mom all the time.

In getting married, actually, basing sa ako mga close friends and relatives, 100k is a decent amount for marriage expenses. If imo e total tanan, from the wedding rings, clothes, costumes/entourage, etc..., it would total jud to around 100k. Trust me kay best man ko sa ako amigo, I helped him budget his wedding.

If ang purpose sa bride's family kay para gasto sa kasal, then wala nay other expenses imo brother, I think 100k is just ok. But 7 lechon? Ka daghan ba ana?

Pero if ang full amount kay adto ra sa parents as pocket money... Nah! Unsa na ilang anak? Malibang ug gold, mangihi ug gasolina?

Stone age jud ang tradition... Practicality wise, what will I gain if I pay 100k and 7 lechon for marrying a certain girl? What is the difference if I marry a salesgirl who is cute and has also a capacity in becoming a good wife?

Of course, if the 100k is for the reception, entourage, wedding rings, ++, if I have the money, I am willing to spend it for the wedding, not for giving it to a girl's family.
