HDD Problem

Taken from Tom's Hardware:

uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"
d. uncheck "Hide protected operating system files [Recommended]"
5. Your hard drive window contents will most likely now show a file called "Autorun.inf"
whose content most likely includes a command line to execute a file (usually another
"Autorun.exe" ) in either the "Recycled" or "Recycler" subfolder.
6. DELETE, I repeat, DELETE this "Autorun.inf" file.
7. Then, also delete both the "Recycled" or "Recycler" subfolders.
8. Release your external drive.
9. The next time you plug your external hard drive in, you should have your regular icon
back, and your "Access denied" problems gone!
10. Good luck!!!

Had tried that but wala man autorun.inf didto..and di man pud ni external ako gamit.

naa ko pangutana mga bossing...currently have a 1TB WD Caviar Black..hapit na mapuno ako storage(after 2yrs of using) karon i wanna add another 1TB preferably Samsung Spinpoint...ok raba lahi2x ang brand sa HDD??will it cause any problems?(if naa) in the future?thanks

naa gyud na siya malware bro. posible na tangtang na ang malware pero iya autorun wala mao ig scan nimo dli makita kay dili mana malware ang autorun. suwayi daw install winpatrol bro basin maka tabang nimo.

ok ra lain2 brand.. di rana ka apekto....im currently using 2 different brands of hdd in one pc.

Problem fixed

Ang ako ra gibuhat was I entered windows in safemode then nagrestart rako..then na-ok naman pagkahuman...I know it sounds weird but I can now open my hard drive with double click.
