yeah for full frame jud bitaw daw ni, but nindot daw kaayu gamiton sa DX bodies kay ma crop ang soft nga boarders, i dont know unsa ka tinood pod.

bro, if your purpose of this lens is not for mid all-round or shall i say having the wide angle to semi telephoto in one then its a good choice. it has positive reviews plus the hsm for fast focusing. its an ex version for the quality build (except sigma's known topmost body coating).

this shall be good for portraits in dx. not desirable for your landscapes.

bro, actually my purpose for this lens is to replace my 18-200. Since i already had my wide angle lens (11-16) ngeta nalang kog mid all-around lens.

bro, ex versions of sigma are their top build in terms of body and optical. but on the other hand, sigma is known for mala-"gamusa" coating on the body which obviously wont stand long compared to traditional rugged plastic(tammy/nikky) or steel(tankina). it tears/scuffs out from wear and tear. but don't get me wrong, lots of professional photographers use sigma due to it proves great.

since you have the 11-16mm(ayay! landscape all the way ^^ ) already, yes pwede na.

bro woodenheart, akng partner sa wedding nag gamit aning sigma 24-70 with his body nikon d90, very sharp ang ouputs.... we usually shoot at weddings.... try to add him at facebook, ariel salupan, para 1 on 1 ka niya sa reviews....

@chip... Bro tanan bah gyud nga sigma lenses mo peel off ang coating sa body? hehe batia sad ug mao na oi, singtanon raba kog kamot dah... aside from this lens, naa kay ika recommend from tamron nga same2x ug quality ani nga specific lens?

sad to say bro, mao na style sa sigma. wala koy ma recommend sa tamron in that mm category. get the nikkor instead, hehehe =) or just don't mind much about its body build, im sure youll enjoy more using it than worrying much about. madaut man gyud tanan from wear and tear, give more emphasis on the performance & output.
