I hope so nga di siya mangcorrupt but I also hope that he won't be incompetent. GMA was a competent one. So far, it's half way through the year, murag mas daghan man ang balita about sa iyang personal life kaysa iyang performance as a president.

not again. another kind of reply that shows the attitude which is the reason why most filipinos don't improve. a very sad thing to note. hope we will all learn to become optimistic and set aside negative comments as much as possible. when do we learn? kailan pa ba? tsk.tsk.tsk.

There's a difference between being optimistic and being realistic. If by being optimistic you mean nga sabay lang sa uso and accept the things the way they are hoping that they will just change by themselves, murag mao nang attitude nga dili gyud magpalambo sa Pilipinas. Being reactive is not being pessimistic.

The negative things are actually some signs that we should work on, from the president down to the people. If we won't work on it and improve it, di gyud moasenso ang Pilipinas. As far as the president is concerned so far from news and some things that I heard, PNoy is underperforming. His personal life is magnified more than his accomplishments (if there are any significant ones so far).

When do we learn? I think that many Filipinos already do but the right question might be, when will we act and straighten up the negative side? Anyway, this isn't a PNoy thread and I might have gone overboard with some things. It's just me wanting more from our president.

About the new bills, they look good. Happy and younger faces.
