The US justice system isn't perfect, but at least their Supreme Court doesn't take 15 years to decide on a case. They also at least know what plagiarism is and that unintentional plagiarism is not an excuse =)

And like I said, even if we were to say the Supreme Court decision is correct, it is still pretty damning to our horrible justice system. As I said in another thread, it's hard to find a word to describe a justice system that leaves a case open for 15 years, letting an innocent man languish in jail in the meantime. As I said in another thread, the closest word I could come up with is 'dogshit'.

yeah man, it just took them 19 years on one certain case... i saw it on investigation discovery....and one case, they almost hanged an innocent man 3x.... Let's face it.... anywhere you are in the world, you can be a victim of Justice delayed....better than Justice denied....although they say Justice delayed is Justice denied...

on topic: It's the fault on the investigation....the Supreme Court merely rectified the faults on the lower courts basing on the evidence gathered... Is hubert truly innocent? we will never know...

Hahaha saludo jud ko nimo do kay bilib na bilib kaayo ka sa atoang systema. Wura kag tao nga bilib na bilib sa basura! Respect needs to be earned. The reason walay asenso ang pilipinas, I'm pretty sure it's because of our godawful justice system, which is laughed at and ridiculed by foreigners for being one of the worst systems in Asia! How long has it been and they still haven't convicted even Imelda. And this case took 15 years, na impressed ka ana? Hahaha.. poor guy you are easily impressed.

Ang dapat i-respect ang justice system nga tarong, kaning atong justice system, kangaroo court ni with monkey tactics run by stupid, lazy jokers. Di ko mo respeto og bogo!

Asa man nang facts dai, nakabasa ka sa kaso? Ikapila na ko nangayo nimo sa facts. Basig dili ka kahibalo mo distinguish between facts og opinion. Most of the ponencia is just the opinion of the justices.. for example in their opinion the witness is not credible. Or in their opinion, the alibi evidence is highly unlikely to be fabricated. This is because the supreme court is not a trier of facts, they're not even supposed to overrule the direct observations of the trial judge regarding the believability of witness testimonies.

How often does our supreme court rely on facts. They in fact rely on palusot a lot. Is unintentional plagiarism being a defense to the plagiarism a fact or just the opinion of the justices. Because I'm pretty sure nowhere else in the world allows that defense.. so there you go. Special ang Supreme Court Pilipinas, wurag special child.. naay Down Syndrome. hahaha...
