kapansin lang ko ba.. kung ms hisgot ta og curroption, ngano ato ma think is kwarta ra man daun? there are other forces of corruption as there are 7 deadly sins..

by luring an official with money, you corrupt him
by luring an official with $3xual favors, you corrupt him
by challenging an official's ego/vanity, you corrupt him..

abNOY may not be corrupt in the financial sense but he is corrupted by the media (shopbiz, tsismis, intriga,) and the title of being a son of a so-called hero..

for this, he is hesitant to initiate necessary but unpopular programs as he fears tarnishing the popularity of his mother and father.. therefore he is corrupted through his vanity...

^ I think you're giving him more credit than he's due. Fact of the matter is, he has no idea what he's doing. He doesn't even know enough to be in a conundrum as to what to do with the country. He promised to get rid of corruption, but to most of us who are businessmen there has been no change in corruption. Customs, BIR, etc are just as corrupt as before, if not moreso. They continue to harass businessmen with their thick faces that you sometimes want to hack with a machete and feed to piranhas...

when good people become indifferent with the rest of the country.... that's when hope will be completely lost... yes, both the government and the people are to be blamed...that includes you and me... we can keep on complaining and pointing fingers and try to rationalize everything...but the bottomline is, if you don't take any action for the benefit of this country, just shut up... we have people silently trying to improve the lives of others.....what have you done lately?

^ Walay limit sa mga bagag nawong diri. For example, a group of customs inspectors from manila demanded that the local businessmen shoulder their business class PAL tickets just so they can "approve" warehouses which should have been ministerial given that all requirements were met by the group of businessmen. Then a BIR inspector comes along and demands a gift, "buwad lang daw" kai lami daw ang buwad sa Cebu. There's also another customs official here who is said to have a collection of furniture in her house given to her by the various furniture companies in Cebu because that's what she demands every time she makes a surprise "inspection" visit.

I want to see a day when these people will get their comeuppance and get what they deserve. I wonder how many businessmen get a bloodlust in their head whenever they encounter these animals. From my conversations, I know a lot do.
