some stud owners verbal lang.. but some, like me, i have written.
not only para klaro but also para i can monitor the progress of the dam's conception
and also to know kinsa nga mga dogs ang naay anak ang ako mga males... for my own line monitoring too

mas maayo naa written agreement bro, para ma lay-out tanan terms and conditions and especially mga "what if" and "who will" questions-- like:

what if di mabuntis?
what if one puppy lang?
who will shoulder shooter's fees?
who will shoulder vaccination/deworming expenses?

di man gud ta maka predict sa resulta sa breeding so mas maayo agreed on na tanan aspects para walay basolay or misunderstanding on both parties which pwede kaayo mahappen if verbal lang...

and as what Ironwood said, it's also a way for the stud owner to keep track of the dam's pregnancy and the litters sired by his/her stud/s.
