@King: the topic of the thread is : Tinuod ba ang Christmas?
If imong sayonon pagsulti, Yes! we always celebrate it every year.

Now, if you're questioning the exact date, then lisud na tubagon. Since we don't have Christ's birth certificate.
If you believe that Jesus is a historical person who exists 2000 years ago, then for sure mo-too pud ka nga naa to cya birtdate.

So what if it's not written in the bible nga nag-celebrate si Jesus sa iyang birthday? You're talking of a first century people, they don't care of anniversaries, or labor days, or hero's days. It's like this, Mona lisa's painting started to get expensive after Da Vinci's death.

So now, if you believe Jesus was born on 0 AD, when would that be?

Whether we burn in hell for celebrating a "pagan holiday" or not, it is still our actions and deeds that determine how the Lord would judge us.

ang importanteng mensahe sa pasko ay ang panagdait, bigayan,
    panaghiusa sa kapwa.

manifestation nalng ng christmas celebration (sa tawo nalng na). i
enjoin to celebrate christmas because i learned to live the virtues
of humility, charity, patience, among others.

however, i dislike other christians commercializing christmas. i abhor
other christians resorting to drinking-spree, violence, rape, and other
forms of crime, in the name of christmas celebration. dapat masabtan

sa atong generation, not one of us, ay pwede makaingon nga ang
ang vidio ay tama or mali. pero bilang romano catolico, ang masabi
ko lang...i'm always doing the right things during christmas based on
    my christian belief.

sana nga pasko araw-araw hahaha...merry christmas!

I totally agree with this but it's a good worldwide tradition nonetheless .. Even non-religious people are celebrating Christmas , and members of the family who lives from far away will come home just for the Christmas eve dinner .. How great is that ?!?!

I think the majority of people nowadays celebrate Christmas by getting each other presents and eating, not by celebrating Lord and Savior. Christmas has become a holiday devoted to family and friends, not Jesus. For me , the message for this tradition is spend time with your family and friends and enjoy every second of it ..

However, where did the thoughts of spending time with your family and friends and enjoy every second of it, isn’t that from Jesus?
