I give them the generic brand from Rose Pharmacy...RiteMed...make sure it is sugarless. I researched again vitamin c dosage and so I have began to give my pits 1,000 mg per day but split it with their two meals they get...a.m.and p.m. Basically 500 mg in a.m. feeding and the other 500 mg during p.m. feeding. The pills I buy from Rose are 500 mg pills.
