sir arnz, sorry for askin' this again...but what are the qualities if we want a good pug? as in like this pang world class...hehe...

What are the "standards" in accordance to the dog show, if there is such a term...do we have to check on the wrinkles or nose folds? body should be round and the like?

good question bro

ill try to sum it up in short phrases para dali masabtan

head and face : nose should be nicely kept under the fold; eyes should be dark and should not be east-west; ears should be black and well pigmented; forehead should be well pigmented too.. and of course with prominent wrinkles. muzzle should be flat as possible; bite should be slightly undershot.

body : should be cobby or square; should have strong and slightly arched neck; topline should be leveled; tail should be tight as possible; single curl is ok, double is very ok. markings should be clearly defined... meaning there must be a distinct separation between the black markings and the fawn, not a graduale smutty shading from one to other... which is what most of the pugs here in cebu has sadly... kanang "smutty" ang color or bleeding sa laing panultion.
