I say love. Since I can commit and I'm not really into affairs. As what I've said over and over in several related threads, I can't just let myself be just an option when I can be the choice.

I would understand why many would rather choose affair over love because with affair, there is little investment while pleasure derived from affair is at maximum (labi na jud kung tago-tago). But eventually it leads to risky behaviors such as promiscuity and vulnerability to diseases.

Love is a mature way of enjoying relationships. Love is very hard to cultivate and takes a lot of care for it to develop. But the pleasure derived from it is profound, guaranteed, and eternal!

As long as emotions and self is not invested then it's fine, but most of the time it is unavoidable that affair do need motivations as to be realized, it's either lust or companionship, and in the end satisfactions are met but with a corresponding loss of dignity.

I choose Love, when it triumphs all the ingredients of a more ideal relationship is always at hand.
