i think retake would b d best answer para patas ug ma prove sa batch 2006 nga angay gyud sila nakapasar then they'll b tested to see kn angay bah sila mo work as an RN kn pasar sila NCLEX kay daghan lawsuits dri kn ma sayop sa ilang work bcoz they are big in patient's safety & they have guidelines & policies...

.. here are some of the important details:

Fely Marilyn Lorenzo, executive director of the University of the Philippines’ Institute of Health and Policy and Development (IHPD), said the results of tests 3 and 5 of the exams must be nullified.

Lorenzo was the chairman of the Commission on Higher Education-Technical Committee on Nursing Education,

About 20 percent of test 3 and 90 percent of test 5 were reportedly leaked to examinees prior to the examination held last June 11 and 12. Each of the five-part test had 100 questions.



To resolve the issue, the PRC had invalidated the leaked questions and adjusted the computation of the scores.

But Lorenzo argued that the measure was not enough to guarantee the integrity of the licensure examination.


The PRC should have also not rushed in administering the oath-taking of the passers because the leakage is still under investigation. I can’t understand why they are in a rush," Lorenzo said.


... Lorenzo has a good point here:

Those who passed the examinations given last June should have no worries about taking the two tests again, Lorenzo pointed out. "If they passed already, they should be secure in the fact that they can also pass a second one," she said.


... but what Lorenzo failed to look is the expenses of the board takers. But still, a RETAKE is the best solution to maintain credibility of the 2006 batch. Coz it will be damn hard to pinpoint who benefited from that leakage.

I hope cebu nurses who passed the exam should re-take the test. Kay ang US ug other countries will not hire Nurses who passed the exam this year. It's all over the news. Pagka faet but they have no choice.

I know it's already late and the damage has been done, but the culprits should be exposed. the people from PRC who are "supposedly" in charge of the testing and somehow found a way to leak them should be sued and charged heavily with whatever applicable violations they commited. they in turn should expose those who paid for the leaked exams ie well-known review center owners or the like. friends of mine (engineers, doctors, nurses and others specially in the medical field) who've either been studying or reviewing in well-know review centers in Manila either experienced first hand or have heard from previous exam takers' story of them waiting at dawn for that "faxed leakage". but now, it's getting more and more blatant in the sense that the exams are "allegedly" shown on the big screen in some theaters in Manila.

since our country's been known for "exporting" workers, then by all means, tests and exams' results should be without any hint of doubt. I pity those takers who've labored for months just to pass this exams honestly. same goes to their families who've supported them not only spiritually and emotionally but financially as well. imagine all their hardwork going to naught because of a person's greed to make easy money. whoever he/she (orchestrated the leak) may be, I hope he/she can still sleep well soundly at night. tsk tsk.

Dugay na man nang issue sa leakage sa prc. Karun lang jud na na bulgar, dili lang sa nursing na nahitabo. Unfair pud kung ipa retake kay dili man widespread ang leak. Gamay ra gud nakapasar, tapos di pud lalim ilang gibuhat aron mu pasar. OK lang unta retake kung wala pa na release para fair sa tanan. Katong mga nag request ug retake P****** Ninyo wa mo kabalo sa among kaagi. We don't Need Leakage to pass.

opyong, kahebaw man mi na deli tanan nanginahanglan ug leakage para mupasar! palihug consider nalang ang sunod na batch mu-take or all filipinos na mutake ug PRC exam, PRC should have the credibility labaw na gyud karun na ang human resources ang isa sa gisaligan sa mga pinoy na makatrabaho sa gawas! para walay duda ang uban nasud sa atong produkto bah! btw, kasabot ko sa imong kaagi coz i have 2 PRC licenses (deli hinuun nursing but engineering & education). naa koy mga igsuun karun nag-skwela sad ug nursing for the hope na makaabroad mao ng concern ko sa tanan deli lang sa mga nagtake karun kundi sa mga sumusunod pa! deli unta natu hunahunaun ang atong kaugalingon lang...
