xcyted for gardenia.. yumyum.. lami gyud au ni!
Nothing extra-ordinary....costs twice as much as the freshly baked loaves at local bakeries. Not worth it...try it once out of curiosity. Big waste of hard-earned money. Don't get fooled by the hype. It only looks good in pictures.
wow i'm an avid fan of this product, always pasalubong ni sa ako auntie if she's going to manila..
That's their promo tactic...make it available at selected outlets first to create the impression that it is exclusive. Those stupid enough to believe it, the social-climbers and those who think everything from Manila is better than anything from Cebu will look for it. But once you actually taste it, it's comparable to our local-products. Why buy Manila when Cebu is better.
Gardenia's the only bread I buy when I'm here in Manila, but obviously I opt for gustavian, Tinderbox, Kate's (in the Rustans Supermarket) and Postrio bread than Gardenia ones when I'm in Cebu. Just interested to find out if their wheat bread still has that awful smell in Cebu in comparison to the Manila bread. Besides, it's cheaper compared to the products I've mentioned earlier since they're mass produced. My mom loves it, so I don't know why you're criticizing people as social climbers simply because their taste buds differ from yours.
