naglabad ako ulo why priest do it during sunday when it is the first day in the weekly calendar and saturday is the obvoius last day.

Even Jesus Christ was accused of blasphemy on sabbath day.. It is from the Law of Moses which Judaism practice ‘till today. hence, Christians does'nt practice it.
